Gerard P. Learmonth, Chief Executive of Broadband Network Services Incorporated, has been named Interim Executive Director of the UVa Executive Master's Program in Systems Engineering. The Executive Program is offered in weekend format to working professionals seeking a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering. The Program is delivered in Northern Virginia on alternating weekends during the academic year.

From 1992 until 1994, Learmonth served as Academic Director of George Washington University's Executive Master's Program in Information Systems.
